• Led and coordinated multi-disciplinary/international teams across geoscience sub-disciplines to estimate reserves, field potentials, property definition, and strategies for future exploitation of the heavy oil area located in Orinoco belt. Direct interaction with teams from other foreign companies (China-CNPC, India-ONGC, Argentina-Enarsa, Brazil-Petrobras, Iran-Petropars, Russia- Gazprom and Lukoil, Spain-Repsol, US-Chevron, others)• Defined technical activities to be executed during different project phases by PDVSA and partners in all the involved disciplines (Geology, Geophysics, Petrophysics, Reservoir, Operations).• Directed and Participated in the Database creation, reservoir properties validation, static data integration and OOIP estimation.• Reviewed invitation of tender bids for services, solicit quotation from vendors, evaluation of bids, specify inspection parameters and monitor the performance of contractors to ensure they are safely and reliably meeting their obligations in terms of staff, equipment, materials, performance standards, quality and reliable services.• Delineated new information acquisition plan to be executed through the drilling of stratigraphic wells during 2005-2007, and monitored plan execution.• Managed workflow for the process of estimating and certifying hydrocarbons reserves.• Devised new technologies for secondary improved recovery of heavy oil. Estimated oil and gas reserves, potentials, primary and secondary recovery. Interfacing with the partners, consultants, contractors and vendors regarding the entire range of services to achieve organizational goals and objectives.• Develop business prospects, secure orders and build sustainable business relationships with international partners.• Networking with people at various levels in the marketplace aimed at developing long-term business relationships.• Shared experiences with mentored junior engineers and promoted teamwork environment
