Responsible for ensuring the successful implementation of the AMI system, which includes planning, design, implementation, testing, commissioning, and ongoing technical support.Responsible for the advanced metering infrastructure (AMI) and smart meter system applications' management, coordination, operations, planning, reporting, and monitoring.Developing operational policies, procedures, and strategies to manage Smart Metering Operations Center (SMOC) operations such as meter rollout plan, disconnection, disconnection follow-up, managed and unmanaged meters, non-communicating meters, SMOC daily operations, manual tasks, complaints, site visits, SMOC Service catalogue and governance. knowledge of the procedures, techniques, tools, and instruments used in the installation, testing, calibration, maintenance, and repair of small, medium, and large electricity and water meters that make use of AMI components as well as the reading of AMI meters.Directs and leads project teams; aids in the recruitment of project staff and contractors; supervises the coordination of project partners and working groups; prepares and maintains detailed project plans; Coordinates project deliverables, problems, project scope, and change control, progress, and performance; collaborates with users to identify business and training needs; and delivers project status reports.
