I’ve worked as a co-facilitator/counsellor, helping senior manager to run a 4-week workshop “Parenting Teenagers” at Drummond Street.Scope of work: Assisted in running the workshop seamlessly. We discussed the mind-set of teenagers and tips to understand them with empathy. We ran group discussions about different issues faced by parents and how to work through them. I also had individual sessions with some clients from different ethnic backgrounds whose kids were experiencing some serious problems as they were stuck between the two cultures.

Cordoba School for A-Level was established in 2007 with an aim to provide quality education to the youth pursuing their Pre-College certifications. It is registered with the University of Cambridge Local Examination Syndicate for International Examinations through their local coordinator, The British Council, Karachi.\Role: Worked with students between the age group of 16-20 years. I’ve provided low-priced therapy within the school premises to the students, dealing with issues related to studies, parents, sexual orientation, addiction, confusion about future, anger, trauma, sexual abuse, family counselling, eating disorders, gender discrimination, sex among others.

Aas Trust is a private nonprofit organization in Karachi, which provides treatment, rehabilitation and aftercare to men and children suffering from alcohol and substance addiction. Role: Worked as a Volunteer Counsellor in all the rehab centers around the city. I’ve provided free of charge therapy to the staff members at Aas Trust. Most of them were in strenuous working conditions because of the difficult job and little training. All my clients belonged to the lower strata of the country dealing with multiple issues related to finance, recovering from addiction, abuse, trauma, anger management, bereavement, workplace conditions, discrimination among others.

I have managed a US based project Do Hard Money with my team of 13 people. The team included developers/programmer, Web Designer, SEOs, SMM, Video editors and Content Writers. We handled the project via website marketing as it was our main source of interaction with our target market. My main responsibilities were devising new e-marketing strategies and my team helped me in implementing them via SEO, SMM and developing the website. I used to assign them new tasks and worked with them to manage their tasks and deliverables. I also wrote blogs and articles and worked on different forums for the promotion of my company. I was also in charge of our CRM software called InfusionSoft and used it effectively to maintain relationship with our customers via follow up emails etc.

I used to listen to the dictated recordings made by physicians and other healthcare professionals and transcribe them into medical reports and these documents eventually become a part of patient’s permanent files.
