1. Manages assigned categories to optimize the supply base and deliver financial benefit to the business, supported by category plans and strategic sourcing initiatives.2. Interfaces with Global Supply Chain to ensure early engagement, collaboration, and cross-project leveraging to the maximum extent.3. Provides timely, effective and efficient reporting of project procurement status to project management and procurement functional management, as necessary.4. Develops the project procurement strategy, execution plan and staffing plan and monitors activities for adherence.5. Ensures that all procurement records are maintained in accordance project procedures.6. Creates team goals, establishes metrics and reports performance.7. Conduct ongoing market analysis and leverages supply chain knowledge to understand and articulate market trends and spend analytics.8. Execute sourcing initiatives that are aligned to business objectives and deliver value.9. Conducts economic analysis, cost modelling in support of assigned strategic sourcing events & bid evaluation. Develops credible business case for sourcing initiatives, supported by market data, commercial objectivity and relevant business and technical factors.

1. Setting up the weekly, monthly, quarterly procurement plan.2. Procurement of Capital Equipment from national and international market.3. Development of alternative local sources for imported raw materials which helps in cost saving.4. Purchasing machines with improved technology to increase production.5. Planning and budgeting of purchase functions, involving cost estimation, contract negotiations.6. Inviting and allotting tenders.7. Liaison with the production department to maintain optimum inventory.8. Implementing systems to avoid situations like over-stocking or out-of-stock which cause production and financial losses.9. Liaison with finance department for timely payment of bills.10. Developing reports on procurement and usage of material for top management.

 Receiving & reviewing technical specifications, bill of quantity, drawings provided by project, checking it & discuss with project if there is any comment then determine / search for suitable Manufacturers / suppliers. Preparing inquiry documents (technical & commercial) & floating the inquiries to the suitable vendors. And following up with the vendors to get the quotations on time to avoid any delay. Receiving the quotations from the vendors, reviewing & evaluating them technically & commercially. Sending & discussing the quotations of Engineering Items with projects for final technical evaluation & client technical approval (if any). Preparing comparison of the received quotations, negotiating with the vendors to get best price, discount, delivery, payment terms & other commercial conditions. Representing procurement team in meetings with project engineers and suppliers to finalize the technical and commercial aspects of the order Reviewing and implementing all procurement policies and procedures. Preparing & issuing Purchase Orders (PO) in accordance with the selected vendors, price & technical specifications. Sending the Purchase Orders to the suppliers, following up the production schedule / drawings / technical documents required for approval. Monitoring & Following up the deliveries / production status with logistics & vendors. Evaluating the vendors. Searching for new manufacturers & stockiest over the world.
