At Avicenna, I began as a backend developer, joining as the third employee during the company’s early stages. As our team grew, I transitioned into managing the engineering team, overseeing backend, frontend, and mobile development. In this role, I was instrumental in establishing our product development processes and project management workflows, ensuring alignment across teams.I worked closely with our engineers to address technical challenges, enhance product quality, and improve stability through the introduction of a Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) workflow. My position at Vecima involves developing real-time and efficient software generally in low-level environments and languages such as C to produce world class products for the data-over-cable, digital video, and wireless broadband industries. My tasks involve low-level design and feature development for our embedded systems. During this time Ive developed a deep understanding of Linux kernel Operating Systems and acquired many skills to approach specific OS level optimization problems; Also gained a lot of experience with video processing and working with codec specs such as h.264, mpeg2, aac etc.

Designed and developed the Affect-detecting Middleware Engine (AME) targeted to transform user's physiological signal to his/er mental state in real-time as my masters research. I've used C# interfacing with SensorLib and sensor device drivers to develop the logic part of the engine, and modified Valve's Source engine by adding the Director (coded in C) as an AI entity to adjust the balance of the game based on user's emotional inputs.

Worked on various parts of the Apotheon's game engine like networking layer, profiling, optimization, multithreading, shaders and rendering effects using C​# and HLSL.

My placement at DemonWare was a great opportunity to collaborate with the data warehousingteam, developing for titles such as Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 and Skylanders: Giants. I’ve usedPython interacting with technologies such as Hadoop and Hive. Most of my time was spent on identifying discrepancies between the collected data which was about 1PB a day from over on-average 30 million live players, and actual stats of the game. This data was later used for match making between online players.

Worked on several components and subsystems of the Zorvan engine namely Resource and Memory Management (Seamlessness), Shading and Rendering Pipeline, Particle Effects, Menu System and other UIs, also worked for Localization and Porting of Garshasp to Linux based systems.I've used the following languages and technologies: C++, Boost, OGRE, WxWidgets, Particle Universe, Hikari, Adobe Flash, ActionScript, OpenAL, OIS, HLSL

Developed Iranvij as the level editor for Zorvan. It features a 3D view of the scene along with many modification tools. Iranvij provides an AI editor and tools for real-time shader configuration etc. I used C++ and wxWidgets as the windowing API along with many other technologies used by the underlying engine.
