Warehouse Manager
Current• Planned, directed, and coordinated the distribution operations for a warehouse, throughout the United Arab Emirates.• Managing warehouse employees including storekeepers, asst. storekeepers, pickers / packers, forklift / truck operators and loading / off-loading workers and assigns work accordingly.• Overseeing and monitoring of quality & quantity stock levels, delivery times transport costs and efficiency.• Organizing warehouse by categorizing goods, planning routes and processing shipments.• Supervise daily all import / export and logistics activities.• Liaise with customers, suppliers and transport companies.• Arranging the transportation (suitable trucks/trailers) for deliveries, and that the deliveries to the consignee / customer are done in accordance with the e-mail received from Sales and in the most economical way.• Follow up the import shipment to be declared in time to avoid any delay and demurrage.• Prepares the warehouse for bi-annual and annual stock take.• Maintains records, logs, GPS trackers of all vehicles.• Coordinates with 3PL Logistics team regarding our goods and schedules bi-monthly audits checks. • Proficient in several warehouse management systems (WMS) and Microsoft suite.• Prepare Packing List (PL & Tax Invoices) for export shipments.• Tracks the online portals and acts accordingly to arrange shipments for the online orders (Amazon & Noon).• Plan & dispatches materials on time to several customers like Carrefour, Luu, Nesto, Ace, Sharaf DG, etc.• Respond to and deal with customer communication by email and telephone.• Keep stock control systems up to date and make sure inventories are accurate.• Plan future capacity requirements• Organize the recruitment and training of staff, as well as monitoring staff performance and progress.• Produce regular reports and statistics on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.• Evaluate performance metrics to ensure quality delivery and cost-efficient work-flow processes.
