My work also involves harnessing the power of matching algorithms and AI assistants to create a seamless pairing of compatible users, ultimately enriching the interaction within the platform. I have also spent time as a computer science expert for ScaleAi, where I have spent considerable time refining high-quality code for an AI model, editing code to eliminate bugs and augment performance. I always loved telling stories, and found an avenue to do that as a sports writer at The Michigan Daily. I got to interview U-M coaches and players and tell their stories to people that wanted to hear them. I've never felt more accomplished or outright cool than when I got to cover the Liverpool - Manchester United game, and even got to chat with Mohamed Salah.

University Of Michigan Addiction Center

I spent 3-4 days a week a week working in the Michigan Longitudinal Study lab. It is the world's largest running and most comprehensive study on alcohol abuse. Most of my hours were spent entering data, making statistical models and coding medicinal or demographic information, while the rest of my week was spent reading up on research papers. For a final project I had to compile a bibliography of research papers on a topic of my choosing, and then presenting the contents of said papers to the head researchers Dr. Robert Zucker and Dr. Brian Hicks.

I worked at KPMG the summer after my first year at The University of Michigan. My work mostly involved me shadowing a team of accountants and consultants so that I could get exposed to the world of business. As time went by I became more comfortable in a business setting and even confident enough to make suggestions when other firms needed advisory or consultancy help, which lead to some of my ideas and suggestions being implemented by firms as well.

With a group of five I started the first student run film festival in Ann Arbor. It involved months of planning, marketing, and emailing potential sponsors for funding. The work lead to many sleepless nights, but in the end we were able to secure $8000 worth of funds for prize money and equipment, and were eventually able to attract a crowd of over a 150 people split into 50 teams to take part in our film competition.

Youth Club is a private non-profit that aims at empowering university students and kids in school to become better versions of themselves, and to turn them into leaders that can inspire positive change. My job primarily was to set-up and organize workshops, lecture series, and other such events throughout the city of Islamabad. The biggest project i undertook was 'The Winds of Change Tour," a month long event where we got guest speakers from England to go to various universities across Pakistan and give lectures on numerous subjects ranging from philosophy, to history, to psychology and many more. On occasion I too have had to give short lectures in front of crowds of over a hundred people. During the summers I would also set up volunteer events at local refugee camps and at the S.O.S children's orphanage in Islamabad, Pakistan.
