While at EY, I was responsible for ensuring the timely completion of audits and other assurance assignments. I was involved in planning of audits based on the nature of the business, assessing control risks and designing the test of controls, discussing accounting discrepancies and other issues identified with the clients, performing variance analysis and reviewing financial statements. During my tenure at Group Corporate Finance at Emaar, I was responsible for Accounts Receivables month end closing processes including sub-ledger reconciliations to GL. I was also responsible for preparing monthly reporting pack providing historical management account snapshots to executives, highlighting variances from budget and plans.
