• Liaison with tax consultants to ensure that you are upto date with day-to-day tax changes.• Ensure timely response and closure of all notices from tax authorities.• Ensure timely submission of return in PRA and keep upto date record of the same.• Submission of application to get exemption certificate u/s Sec 148 and Sec 153• Submission of application of tax refunds and adjustments of tax refund to FBR.• Follow up tax consultant on getting refunds and exemption certificates on time.• Ensure all GDs from FBR are reconciled with WEBOC.• Collect tax challan from import dept. against tax deducted on GDs u/s 148 and reconciled it with ledger.• Ensure all purchase invoice has been claimed before 6 months from invoice date so no input tax should be left.• Ensure all debit notes and credit notes will be adjusted and declared in sales tax return.• Ensure correct WHT deduction has been done on vendor payments and timely submission of deducted taxes.• Prepare WHT deduction certificates and send them to suppliers and employees on annual basis.• Monthly withholding statement under section 149 and 165 in IRIS.• Monthly sales tax returns of Companies registered with FBR, SRB, and ICT.• Advance income tax under section 147.• Sales Tax & Income Tax Audits.• Process income tax exemption.• Performing work on All Finance Reports (on SAP Business one).• Check and input all vouchers for payment (on SAP business one).• Maintaining Fixed Asset Register & Calculation (on SAP Business one).• Check verified and update schedules quarterly, semiannual and annul for audit.• Liaison with Internal and External Auditors.• Performing quarterly financial statements.• Check reconciliation of advances against Marketing expenses, RP & Suppliers ledger, posting entries for addition and monthly Depreciation.• Monthly marketing reports (SE Ratio, PS & Promos BBR report & combine budget report vs Actual reports)
