Business FinanceWorked as business partner/manager finance for key accounts with a portfolio size of $50M (~1500 HC) for one of the leading vertical.Responsible for budgeting and forecasting of complete P&L’s of the assigned accounts and performing various kind of analysis required to explain the variance against budgeted or forecasted numbers.Being a business partner also responsible to drive profitability from the account by identifying the leakages and pushing operation to do more revenue assurance or value share kind of things.Weekly connecting with Operations just to understand the operational challenges and its impact on account financials. Also Bi-weekly connecting with Sales team to discuss the deals on which they are working, so that we have a view on deals to cover the unsold in portfolio.Also responsible for pricing for upcoming renewals from assigned accounts.Responsible to review the contract from profitability view and make sure that there is no revenue/margin leakage.Reporting monthly and quarterly financials to leadership just to apprise them from the movement in accounts.

Here I am participating in monthly operating rhythms (pipeline reviews, operating reviews, quarterly estimates review, variance analysis reviews) & providing quality insights to the GE India leadership team. Responsible for Head Count and Base Cost analysis on monthly basis and to address all the queries related to them. Responsible for analyzing actual v/s plan numbers, estimating cost at monthly basis & supporting the various business initiatives on growth & cost control fronts. Supporting in implementation of Finance reporting systems – coordinating between IT teams & business finance managers - to drive standardization & simplification ensuring compliant reporting of financials.

In this role I was a part of Regional Treasury Center (Singapore). Here I was involved in scrutinizing the deals for various markets for Forex conversions, Loans and Fund Transfer between various banks. Forecasting Profit & Loss Account for different markets across JAPA region and analyzing the variances, which could cause differences in P& L on a monthly basis (before the closure). Also calculate accruals on monthly basis like Interest income which is to be received from card members of JAPA region, interest to be credited to New York Bank Account of American Express and to carry on the trend analysis of the same.

Here I was a part of credit team which assess the risk involved in the business proposal made by the client to the bank in order to take business loan or Loan Against Property (LAP). Personally visit the sites, carry on personal discussion with the clients in presence of Credit Manager in order to get their actual financial position, analyse the financials of the client and prepare report on clients credit appraisal. Research on the feasibility of the project and study parallel project to understand the market trend of the relevant industry. Carry on ratio analysis of the financial statement, to check client’s business stability and present position. Prepare projected financial statement for the business based on its last five-year financials, actual sales, stocks verified and market trend.
