As a co-founder and board member of CardioRenal Research Institute (CARE), a healthcare startup specializing in cardiovascular and renal diseases, I partner with independent clinics nationwide to conduct high-quality studies and deliver exceptional patient care and valuable data. As a partner at a venture capital firm, I have invested in multiple healthcare and technology companies that have disrupted the industry and created positive social impact. Some of my portfolio investments include Liberty Dialysis, SignifyHealth.com, Remedy Partners, US Renal Care, and Lumity.com. I am also a board certified nephrologist, a fellow of the American Society of Nephrology, and an MBA from the Wharton School of Business. I am a recipient of the Ellis Island Medal of Honor and a US Congressional award for my humanitarian and entrepreneurial efforts.
