As a Guest Service Agent, I have improved my communication skills, my negotiation skills, and my problem solving skills. This internship has also taught me the importance of organization. Being organized helps our organization run smoothly, making our jobs easier, while keeping our guests satisfied. I have learned how a hotel operates as a whole through the cooperation of the different departments. It is necessary for there to be exceptional communication between all departments in order to be a successful hotel. This internship has also helped me improve my multi-tasking skills. During my shifts, I am required to not only attend to guests, but also complete a checklist of tasks. These tasks consist of reviewing a variety of reports that help us and our departments keep track of our guests and the hotel's finances. Overall, I have truly enjoyed my internship and will be joining the Hilton team as a full-time employee
