Responsible for implementing overall safety of the site duringconstruction works. Prepare, submit and implement Health and SafetyManagement Plans, Environmental Management Plans (CEMP) for theprojects.Prepare Hazard Identification and Risk Assessments for constructionactivities, monthly HSE stats and reports, corrective/preventive actionreports for NCRs/audit comments raised by the consultant and Client.Conducting toolbox talks for workers, daily meetings with Supervisorsand foreman to achieve the Health and Safety goals of the project.Prepare and renew Work Permits as per work priority. Ensure availabilityof valid permits at site all the times.Manage the implementation of approved traffic management plans,checking safety of road diversions, work access as per WZTMG.Monitor the training needsforstaff and workers and arrange external orprovide training as required.Conduct internal safety audits, assist consultant and client for site safetywalks, and organize external safety audits.Conduct incident investigation for all near misses and all minor, majoraccidents. Prepare investigation reports for submission to consultantand client.Set emergency protocols and lead the Emergency Response Team (ERT).Conduct mock drills to monitor implementation and effectiveness ofemergency response protocols.Ensure proper handling and storage of hazardous material.
