During my internship at ACI Pharmaceutical Ltd., I acquired considerable knowledge and experience in numerous pharmaceutical industry dimensions. As an intern in Quality Assurance, I was responsible for testing raw materials, packaging materials, and finished products, as well as conducting microbiological analysis, environmental monitoring, and bioassays. In addition, I have experience with in-process quality control (IPQC), pharmaceutical validation, raw material and packaging material source validation, and documentation and registration compliance with ISO, safety, health, and environmental standards.In addition, I worked in other departments, such as production (tablet, capsule, injectable, penicillin, ophthalmic, cephalosporin, LCO, MDI, NDDS), warehouse, engineering (water treatment plant, ETP plant, and HVAC system), and the administrative department, allowing me to gain a comprehensive understanding of the pharmaceutical industry.This internship taught me how to collaborate with cross-functional teams, adhere to rigorous industry regulations and standards, and prioritize duties in order to meet tight deadlines. I completed a 4-week training program on industrial process unit operation and process control techniques. During the program, I gained theoretical knowledge in areas such as process technology, heat transfer, pumps, water treatment, chromatographic analysis, controllers, and safety. I also received practical training in areas such as process control, heat exchange, and organic content analysis using GC/HPLC.During my training, I've gained extensive practical experience as well as theoretical orientation in fluid flow in pipelines, pump operation, heat exchange performance, laboratory practices, and water treatment using various processes. I also gained hands-on experience in process control, heat exchanger operation using SCADA and PID, and the analysis of organic content by GC/HPLC. I am adept at handling solid materials, absorption, and neutralization, as well as the operation and application of equipment such as UV-visible spectrophotometers and inductively coupled plasma (ICP-OES) machines.My hands-on experience in laboratory practices, fluid flow in pipelines, pump performance, and heat exchange has given me a deep understanding of the intricacies of industrial processes. I excel at analyzing process data, identifying opportunities for improvement, and implementing solutions to achieve desired outcomes.Furthermore, I have a basic understanding of rotating equipment, personal protective equipment, fire protection arrangements, process simulation, corrosion analysis equipment, and boilers. I am also well-versed in the Bangladesh Labor Law of 2006 and the National Integrity Strategy (NIS).As an industrial process professional, I am equipped with the knowledge and experience needed to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of industrial processes while maintaining a focus on safety and regulatory compliance.Overall, the training was highly beneficial in providing me with a solid theoretical framework and practical skills necessary for the industrial sector.
