I Studied at the Institute Of Education where I obtained my PGCE in Social Sciences.As a Humanities teacher, my main specialisms cover Sociology, Psychology & History, Which I am proficient in teaching. These subjects were all taught from key stages three, all the way upto key stage six. Moreover, my pupils have always achieved 100% pass rate in their overall grades and exam results. My experience as an External Exams officer for AQA , has allowed me to become adept in appreciating the correlation between the curriculum, the way exam questions are constructed and to the degree pupils learn within a class room. In short, Teachers should always aim to ensure a healthy culture of learning. Applying the many kinetic ideologies of learning into the classroom whilst observing the curriculum closely. I'd ensure this was very much my professional practice. I am in the process of setting up My own web page to take on some private tuition with A level pupils studying Sociology/ psychology / History . I wish to return as an educator after taking an extended career break to have my children.

My role has included assisting pupils in their learning by ensuring they are on task, specifically with handwriting skills but also as an where needed in a classroom setting and during breaks. My aim is to encourage pupils to feel confident in their learning and to them to make learning a fun and thought provoking experience. My earlier time at the Robert Fitzroy Academy included assisting Reception and Y1 aged pupils with their reading skills, comprehension & learning of phonics. This was mainly achieved by supporting and encouraging pupils away from class and on a 1-2-1 capacity.
