Fahreen Walimohamed is a well-rounded health informatics professional with a background in the hospital, home care, vendor, research and academic settings. Her passion lies in leveraging health information technologies (HIT) to improve the efficiency and quality of care delivered to patients. Currently, she is an Implementation Manager at OnCall Health, a leading telehealth platform and patient portal in the behavioural health space. Fahreen has an academic appointment as an Adjunct Lecturer at the University of Toronto with the Institute of Health Policy, Management and Evaluation (IHPME) in the Master of Health Informatics (MHI) program. She has also previously taught as a Professor at George Brown College with the Center for Arts, Design and Information Technology, within their Health Informatics Post-Graduate Program. Lastly, Fahreen is a published primary author in the digital health research space and an esteemed moderator and speaker at several conferences including the eHealth, Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS), and Future of Health Leadership, Informatics and Policy (FHLIP) conferences.
