Fahruddin Najumudeen started his career immediately after graduating with a B.A. Business Management degree in 2004. He joined Genting Malaysia Berhad as a Management Trainee and over a period spanning eight years was attached to the Genting Theme Park Division. He moved from the Management Trainee entry-level platform to head the Genting Skyway Department at a relatively young age. At the time Genting Skyway was the longest and fastest Cable Car system in Asia.Over the years in Genting Theme Park, he spent most of his career in the Video Simulator Machines and Leisure Department which is proud to have more than 800 game machines at the most popular tourist destination in Malaysia. He left Genting Malaysia Berhad as Manager of the Genting Skyway and Genting Bowl departments.In February 2012, he joined Themed Attractions and Resorts Sdn. Bhd. as Assistant Vice President of Operations to assist in the setting up and eventual operations of Puteri Harbour Family Theme Park in Iskandar Puteri, Johor. As a subsidiary company of Khazanah Nasional Berhad tasked to be the leading leisure and tourism player in the industry, TAR successfully opened Sanrio Hello Kitty Town and Thomas Town theme parks in October 2012 with Lat's Place Live Animated Themed Restaurant starting operations in February 2013. These attractions formed Puteri Harbour Family Theme Park with Fahruddin as its General Manager from July 2014 to April 2017.In May 2017, he had moved to a northern state as part of the pre-opening team of a theme park project as the Senior Operations Manager, successfully working with the existing team to draft and approve SOP/WI documents to establish basic operations manuals and processes. He left this company in mid-April 2019 to start a new career in a new industry.Today, he is the Tower Manager of MAHA TOWER, the newest landmark of Pulau Langkawi. With a short pre-operations window of 30 days, managed to oversee the first customers step foot in the beautiful tower and enjoy the views and breeze at a magnificent vantage point in Pekan Kuah. Fahruddin is currently available to move on to new challenges based in Klang Valley as he is looking to settle down with his wife and daughter at home in Dengkil, Selangor.

In addition to executing plans for improvement of the facilities and obtaining approvals from Senior Management including from the parent company (Perbadanan Kemajuan Negeri Perak), I had also reviewed internal manpower requirements and provided insights and recommendations to better support park operation needs. Over the two years of operations, a number of events were successfully coordinated by the collaborating Events Department team supported by my departments above working in the background. In my position, I had also met and networked with personnel in government departments including but not limited to Jabatan Keselamatan dan Kesihatan (DOSH), PDRM, BOMBA, RELA, Setiausaha Kerajaan (SUK) and Majlis Bandaraya Ipoh among others. The role I played in my time here is to coordinate and facilitate the work required and proposed by my subordinates as opposed to the general idea of dictating what needs to be done.

Networking with personalities within the service industry in Johor was important to ensure the brands remained relevant with a vast 45% of visitors being domestic Johor residents followed by those from Selangor, Kuala Lumpur and also international visitors from Singapore, Indonesia, Hong Kong and more.
