Forward-thinking IT Professional is accountable for the IT department, IT Operations and implementation of new IT systems. Responsible for ensuring that the IT systems and team are efficient and functioning within the limits of budget, time, and specifications of the Organization.DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:• IT Planning: Develop and implement IT strategies aligned with the hospital goals and enhancing through technology.• Infrastructure Management: Oversee the maintenance and optimization of IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, and security systems• Application Management: Manage the implementation, customization, and support of Healthcare applications, including the Hospital Management System (HMS) and Electronic Medical Records (EMR).• Data Management: Oversee the collection, storage, and analysis of Healthcare data to support clinical decision-making, quality improvement initiatives, and research efforts.• IT Governance: Establish and enforce IT governance frameworks, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with organizational objectives, legal requirements, and industry standards.• Performance Monitoring: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for IT systems and services, regularly monitoring performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and optimize resource allocation.• Vendor Management: Evaluate, select, and manage external vendors and service providers to meet the hospital & it's IT needs effectively.• Budget Management: Develop and manage the IT budget, ensuring cost- effective utilization of resources while meeting organizational objectives.• Risk Management: Identify and mitigate IT-related risks, including cybersecurity threats and data breaches, to safeguard patient information and hospital operations. • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with clinical and administrative departments to understand their IT requirements and deliver tailored solutions.• Continuous Improvement: Monitor industry trends and best practices in Healthcare IT, recommending and implementing improvements to enhance operational efficiency and patient care. • Developing security measures to protect computer networks from unauthorized access, including firewalls, intrusionQUALIFICATION *Postgraduate professional with MCA and M.Phil in Computer Science
