The flow includes using Cloudfront to direct users to the appropriate S3 bucket based on their domain, ensuring they get the desired webpage.I implemented a custom queue to manage process states during batch write processes. Even after the component was destroyed and reinitialized, the queue maintained its state to show the end user. I also implemented lambda layers to reduce the size of the lambdas and mitigate repetitive code from each lambda. This included layers for DB handler and AWS wrapper to reuse the code.I tuned EBS for handling Nginx worker connections. This helped to increase the handling of many requests in parallel. Additionally, I designed and implemented a custom chat feature using AWS IoT with a custom caching mechanism. This reduced redundant API calls.I designed and implemented custom layouts for different users depending on their membership type. I also added the facility for the admin to change the end-user screen layout in real time. Furthermore, I designed and implemented an end-to-end flow for the video and voice calling feature using a third-party service called daily.co. I also created an end-to-end flow for creating email templates on the front end and sending them using AWS SES.I trained new resources and communicated directly with the client for requirement gathering.
