My role as a banker at MBSB Bank, I am responsible for conducting research and analysis to develop corporate sustainability strategies compliant with government rules and regulations. Assist corporate strategy division to deliver overall bank's strategic directions.A) Sustainability Roadmap & Reporting - Monitored the progression of the sustainability initiatives in accordance with ESG Framework- Assisted senior colleagues to integrate ESG considerations into the Bank’s business plan and implementation of Net-Zero Strategy.- Facilitated in data sharing for the development of annual sustainability report.- Assisted senior colleagues in the preparation of effective presentation slides and papers to the Management and the Board2) Climate Risk, Carbon Accounting & Data Management -Collaborated closely within a Special Project Steering Committee to ensure alignment with BNM's Climate Risk Management and Scenario Analysis (CRMSA), chaired by the Chief Risk Officer and co-chaired by the Chief Strategy Officer.-Accountable for data collection and calculation for scope 1, 2 & 3 (including financed emissions).-Developed employees commuting survey and its communication pack as part of Bursa's sustainability reporting disclosure requirement.3)Sustainability Advocacy & Capacity Building- Engaged and coordinated discussions with relevant initiative owners in preparation for sustainability-related target expansion.- Facilitate to conduct a series of workshops with appointed vendors to develop in-house capability for financed emissions calculations, sustainable procurement practices, and embedding climate risk into the bank’s enterprise risk system.- Conducted monthly general awareness sessions for all newly onboard employees as part of our in-service programme (INSPRO)- Drafted answers for BNM'S questionnaires on DDQ GP3 and GP4 and AIBIM's annual reporting on Value-Based Intermediation (VBI).
