The goal isn't to live forever. The goal is to create something that will.I am a High school junior with aspirations to one day change the world through STEM. Always open to new learning opportunities, and I am passionate about creating meaningful change through science and technology. Specifically, I'm currently pursuing a career within bioengineering and biotechnology. In my free time, I enjoy athletics, exploring new places, and meeting new people!Currently, I hold an Officer role for my school's Interact Club. Interact Club focuses on creating positive change in the local community through volunteering. Interact also provides members with the chance to create a network of connections, serve their local community, and make new friends. My role is to help foster a positive connection between Interact members, their officers, and those who oversee the Interact Club.Previously, I was a microbiology Intern under Lawrence Berkeley National Lab and Joint BioEnergy Institute (JBEI), which works in collaboration with the Department of Energy. I had the opportunity to intern under distinguished Berkeley Lab officials and leading STEM experts to learn fundamental concepts of lab work, research, microbiology, biotechnology, and biofuels.Previously, I worked as an Office Assistant under Kumon of San Leandro. At Kumon, I had the opportunity to aid the education of young children through grading assistance, tutoring, and teaching of fundamental concepts in Math and English. Kumon gives disadvantaged students the opportunity to advance their education.
