Hello there! I'm Holly, a.k.a. Fairy Code Mother (according to my junior devs 😂). I’m happiest when learning new technologies, fixing tricky bugs, creating interfaces for humans, and coaching software engineers on their path to mastery.Prior to software engineering, I worked at a disability non-profit where I helped run retreats for families, volunteered at wounded warrior camps and managed a grant program for individuals affected by disabilities. Merging my experience as a software engineer and disability advocate, I am determined to see software applications and technology become more accessible and inclusive.I’m also passionate about diversifying the tech industry. I founded a network for Women Who Code in Austin, Texas, USA and grew the network to over 3300 women in tech before transitioning to Helsinki, Finland. It was thrilling to mentor women as they embarked on their engineering journey. So, that’s me: software engineer, lifelong learner, coach and advocate.
