Quality Control Engineer / Inspector at PT SMCC UTAMA INDONESIA, Group of Sumitomo Mitsui Construction Co, Ltd. on the Manyar Smelter Project by PT Freeport Indonesia, Gresik East Java, Indonesia1. Learning and implementing QA/QC system includes Material Approval Request (MAR), Inspection and Testing Plan (ITP), Method Statements (MS), standard drawing, Inspection and Testing Report (ITR), and others document works.2. Conduct daily monitoring quality works for material, civil works, steel structure works and building works accordance to ITP and standard.3. Conduct daily inspection based on Notice for Inspection (NFI) submitted to main contractor for civil works, steel structure works and building works based on ITP and standard.4. Actively perform routine quality induction for a new and repeat works on site with each subcontractor related to works and attend by management, supervisor, safety officer, surveyor, and workers itself as an act of leading the construction based on work procedure and standards accordance with ITP and standard drawing.5. Respond as reported issue on site includes surveillance report, nonconformance (NCR) to construction team and management, and made a coordination with it to ensure the closing of the issued report on site based on schedule, quality and engineering matters.6. Joint construction-quality team for walkdown progress construction for finding or punch-list on completed works, then finally closed them accordance to Standards.7. Manage all report compilation for final ITR and documents paper purposes.8. Monitor and manage with QC manager and construction teams for completed works and remaining works due to quality and schedule matters.
