• Manage and coordinate day-to-day accounting operations including but not limited to financial management, accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledgers.• The ownership across the full cycle of financial accounting whilst also being focused across areas of business support, payroll, expense monitoring and processing.• Preparing the posting of all journal entries related to prepayments and accruals, depreciation, amortization, revenue accruals, expenses, payroll, monthly bank reconciliations, related party balances reconciliation, etc.,• Responsible for carrying out accounting functions like the accurate recording of journal entries, preparing monthly accounts, maintaining general Ledger schedule, reviewing payroll workings, and coordinating with a group of companies• Responsible all areas of Tax accounting and VAT filing for returns, / IFRS 16 Leases: identifying Right of use assets and Lease liabilities & working on it/ Plays an important part when closing monthly accounting periods for a company.• Assist with the annual audit process, including the drafting of the financial statements and related notes. Assist with annual external audit and DOI examination. Complete requested materials. Assist in preparing assigned schedules for the annual and interim audit• Liaise with financing banks, assess trade profitability, actively participate, and control the bank-related reconciliations and transactions• Manage and control the payables/receivables process end-to-end (expenses & supplier invoices).• Actively participate in yearly budgets and monthly forecast reporting with the Finance manager.• Preparing intercompany recharges.• Managing and preparing various balance schedules (prepayments, advances, deferred payments, provisions etc.)

Work on assisting senior auditors in various sectors, checking vouchers, i.e. sales invoice, purchase invoice, petty cash vouchers, salary slip and posting. Monitoring journal in ledger account, adjusting entries and Closing entries. Reconcile trail balance with general ledger account. Handling accounts with finalizationPhysical vouching of fixed asset.
