Had an extraordinary opportunity to work as an intern at Muscat Electricity Distribution Company (MEDC) for 8 weeks. During my internship, i've covered most of the departmants in the company starting with costumer service, GIS, Tariff Metering, Emergancy, Logistics, Operation, Maintenance and Comessioning team, Protection and Main grid Control. Also, during the internship, I've had the opportunity to visit several sites and stations, including Grid stations (132 kV - 33 kV), Primary sub-stations (33 kV - 11 kV) and distribution sub-stations (11 kV - 415 kV) as well as getting involved in several comessioning and maintenance operations including Overhead lines maintenance, Underground transmissioning cable maintenance, Primary station comessioning tests (Transformars, capacitor banks, switchgears and protections components).
