Job Responsibilities- Evaluation, selection, and control of sub-contractors to ensure that Subcontractors are fully aware of their safety obligations and meet them.- Co-ordinate with Client Organization and organize Safety OrientationProgram for all employees who may be allotted to work at that organization.- Ensure all employees wear generally required Personal Protective Equipment, depending on their job, including arranging unique safety gadgets like full-body harnesses to work at elevations, chemical-resistant gum boots, and Aprons for Acid pickling personnel.- Conduct daily Safety Orientation briefings and Safety awareness to all workers before starting each shift.- Continuously monitor conforming to Safety Rules and Regulations.- Recommending management for punishment to habitual violators, including termination. To cultivate a culture of Safety and Health awareness of the workers.- Report and investigate all accidents promptly and arrange for First Aid wherever it is an immediate requirement.- Prepare safety Audit monthly report to the client and the quality management.- Conduct breathing apparatus training for workers assigned to work in Toxic environments.- Assist the Pre-commissioning / commissioning team in performing their task safely.- Implementation of a safe working system and advice on ways to improve existing work methods.- Fire extinguisher bottles on scheduled inspection periods and service them in need.- To ensure safety, posters, boards, and other required charts are placed on installations.- Site indoctrination and advising on safety measures for new employees.- Monitor housekeeping in all relevant areas.- Inspect firefighting equipment/fire alarm and fire control systems. - Before leaving the job site, make sure that all unfinished jobs such as open pits, overhead, and others must have safety precautions of signboards and safety tape to avoid an accident- Implement ISO 14001,45001 Document.
