During my time on this team, I was the top seller on the team and also had the highest conversion rate. My sales figures led to me being included on the small multi-skilled team which covered both the West Team and the East Team (who specialised in holidays to the Indian Ocean, Far East and Arabia), group bookings and customer service. This role involved further product training to cover the additional destinations as well as having to negotiate group rates with suppliers for high value bookings. Other responsibilities have included being a point of contact for homeworkers – assisting them withany problems with bookings, booking amendments, helping calculate new costings and advising them of correct administration fees. Floorwalking the customer service team – assisting new starters when they joined the company by showing them how to deal with any situation that may arise and helping them to improve their skills.
