Perform necessary actions to ensure the data centre and all systems are protected or secured against viruses, hackers and malicious threats.Lead and manage the data centre team in ensuring the server and data centre equipment performance and availability to minimize the downtime.Manages and leads the user support team on daily IT matters to ensure the continuous support given matches or beyond the client expectation.Maintains and improve organization's effectiveness and efficiency by defining, delivering, and supporting strategic plans for new information technologies implementation activities.Coordinates and ensures high availability of host computers and network resources by performing back-up disaster recovery exercise procedures, information security and control structures.Perform capacity planning for IT network devices and hosted applications relative to current and future needs. Thus proposing acquisition of additional resources to support the company growth.Supervises technical staff who are responsible for district-wide data networks, computer and network operations by assigning and coordinating work assignments and resolution of critical technical or procedural problems.Assist in managing budgets and purchases activities for technical technology procurement to ensure it is in line with technology update.Recommend improvement needed in current infrastructure with the latest technologies and determine applications of new technology solutions and implementations which to be equipped will meet business and system requirements.
