I work with a great group of talented Front End Developers to establish, maintain and evolve standards, best practices and the development process for the organization. I get to dig in early on projects to work out the technical architecture with other specialists both internal and external. Some of those projects I get to be the primary developer but it's not uncommon to tag-team projects with other UI Engineers to accommodate resourcing and schedules which is why consistency in process is super important. I use semantic HTML5, well supported CSS3 and JavaScript to create rich, responsive experiences for our clients' websites and applications, optimized for their users.

I manage a team of eight-plus developers ranging from junior to senior. My responsibilities range from coaching and mentoring to assisting with personalities and technical architectures. As a "player/coach" for the front end development team I have the opportunity to lead the front-end technical direction for a wide variety of projects developed at XyberWorks. I also maintain a full development workload.

Work with small/medium sized business owners to create or redevelop their web presence. Often work with and manage other individuals as external resources on projects. Create sites using various Content Management Systems like WordPress) using development with PHP, and theming semantically with HTML, CSS and adding interactivity with JavaScript and libraries like jQuery.

Primary focus in front end/UI development but also involved throughout entire project life cycle from discovery and requirements building, to development of wireframes and design concepts (mock ups), development of markup (HTML), presentation (CSS) and behavior (JavaScript) and implementation
