Working on an 5 ongoing projects as a primary author with the department of otolaryngology involving analyzing data charts from patients undergoing chemotherapy, in hopes to find a relation between when chronologically should a nasogastric tube be inserted. Projects also involve a case review on global 30 day readmission rates for otolaryngology visits. Looking at primary cause for readmission based on a database of over 20,000 papers and trying to determine underling reasons for readmission in order to improve healthcare efficacy for both the patient and the hospital.

Worked with a team under the Department of Otolaryngology as the primary research intern investigating the difference in elemental concentrations in the middle ear for mice diagnosed with Osteogenesis Imperfecta using X-ray Fluorescence Microscopy medical imaging. Used analytical techniques to obtain numerical pixel values of different elements. Showcased leadership by obtaining first-author status on a research manuscript to be published in early 2023. My abstract on the project was also inducted into the most prestigious hearing conference in the US (Association for Research in Otolaryngology).Primary research investigator on a revolutionary procedure to replace the current surgical methods for myringoplasty using green lasers and Rose-Bengal dye to significantly increase the efficacy, safety, and financial return. Created a plan and histology procedure for the experiment along with tissue sectioning. Listed as first author on a research manuscript in progress to be published in June 2023.
