Working in Middle Office as a Transaction Manager for SPV and SMTN note Issuances Issuing and settlement of Programme and Stand Alone SPV Notes, Warrants, Certs and SMTNs Input/validation of bookings to ensure correct cashflows/PV's on SPV and internal hedge trades Calculate and provide Front Office with issuance `costings' to ensure liquidity of SPV vehicle and make and maintain payments for associated Vehicle running costs and ad hoc fees Writing procedures and `deal manuals' for each issue prior to issuance to include structure and workflow diagrams highlighting non-vanilla characteristics and flag potential complications for that particular issue's lifespan Dealing with ad hoc queries from Front Office, Back Office, the Issuing Agent and Clearing Systems, Legal and External Counsel Liaising with Settlements area to ensure timely settlement of issues and cash management in both Euroclear and domestic markets Capturing future trade events and potential corporate actions for the SPV and associated collateral into a local database Calculation and distribution of rate fixings to the Paying Agent and Clearers including fixings based on LIBOR, CMS Rates, Range Accruals, RPI and Various Indices and exotic coupons. Ensuring there were no depot/nostro breaks and that correct open positions are maintained with the IPA and Clearers Maintenance of various daily control reports for open risk, integrity of internal bookings, rate calculations and other key risk indicators. Had responsibility for setting up and managing the issuance of CSi managed SPVs Involved in the setting up and issuing of over 25 SPV's, and various CS issued notes Liaising with the CS Front Office, Legal, External Counsel and the SPV Issuing and Paying Agent and dealing with all queries or problems that may have held up the issuance Dealing with Corporate Actions, Stock Splits, Triggers, Coupon Calculations, Collateral Movements, Payments, Documentation, Nostro and Depot Breaks Extensive knowledge of Euroclear/Clearstream systems for both issuing and settlement Had extensive knowledge of making payments in various currencies and understanding of the associated payment deadlines Implemented the Client Money procedure for the New Issues desk Managed the CS balance sheet to ensure limits on holding of bank stocks were observed and, if necessary, to move stock off balance sheet into a specially created SPV Represented the area at various meetings to enhance product and system development and worked on the testing of various new system implementations
