Faisal Arshad has been the founding member of a multi discipline design consultancy firm FA+P. He is a graduate architect from UET, Lahore. Since 1998, he has been working with the countries leading architects and firms. His outstanding portfolio got him selected to work with an award winning international firm TAK Design and Sama Dubai.Over the years, he has achieved an expertise to meet extremely hard deadlines of design stages through persistent hardship and rigorous practice. He had successfully delivered the design development and documentation of several types of Tuscan and Mirador Villas, the first signature project of Emaar Pakistan. He had been involved as a project architect for the iconic mega development of Bahria Town Rawalpindi, in master planning of phase 7 & 8. He is one of very few architects of the country to work on world’s most prestigious projects such as Meydan Horse Race Course Complex in Dubai and the world’s tallest commercial tower, Burj Al Alam in Dubai as well.His international experience also includes of his role as a design manager in Sama Dubai (Dubai Holdings). He lead the design development team for the projects of Salam Golf Resort in Oman and the high end mix use development in Rabat, Morocco.Upon his return to Pakistan in May 2009 to assist in one of his family owned ventures, he decided to launch his own practice FA+P. His vision for his practice is to be at par with the best in the region becoming a firm of international repute.His works have been published in Archi Times July09 edition.Besides practising, he had been a visiting faculty in National College of Arts Rawalpindi Campus. He is part of the faculty at the Department of Architecture & Design, Comsats Islamabad. On 6th October 2017, he was elected as Vice Chairman IAP RIC.IAP (RIC) Honorary Secretary & Member Executive Council 2010-12AIA International Associate since 2015.
