My name is Faisal Bashir, and Kashmir is my home. I have 7 years of professional experience telling stories through my photographs. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Journalism and Mass Communication from the University of Kashmir.I have covered everything in my homeland, from conflict and violence to human rights, including life, insurgency, politics, governance, economy, environment, technology, health, culture, sports, climate change, and press freedom. As an advocate for journalism ethics, I uphold the highest standards of integrity and objectivity in my work. I believe in giving a voice to the voiceless and scrutinizing social injustice through my photographs.I have worked for the region's leading newspapers in the past. Currently, I'm working as a freelance photojournalist based in Indian Kashmir. I have strong multimedia skills and a deep understanding of photojournalism and delivering fast content for quick-hit news stories and wire services. I take instructions well and have great communication skills.
