- Responsible for organization-wide database administration of enterprise-scale heterogeneous databases (Oracle, MySQL, and DB2).- Responsible for Installation, configuration, and Upgradation of Oracle databases and its related products on AIX/Linux and Windows-based environments.- Hands-on experience on Oracle Database (11g/12c), Oracle Data Guard, ASM, Oracle Enterprise Manager Grid Control. - Responsible for the Implementation of Data Guard technologies for critical systems, configuring Switchover and Failover and ensure DR Drills for Production systems.- Implementation and Administration of ASM and migration of databases from NON-ASM to ASM. - Implementation of policies and procedures for ensuring the availability, security, and integrity of the Oracle databases. - Perform different proactive and reactive performance tuning and monitoring tasks.- Planning, scheduling Oracle Backups and Recovery strategies using RMAN, Data Pump Export/Import.- Schedule jobs, implementation of SQL/PLSQL scripts to automate system and activities related to the database.- Work as part of a team and provide support when required. - Perform technical troubleshooting and give consultation to development teams.

- Migration of TABS 7 to clustered environment along with the migration of SOA and SSO suite.- Planning and implementation of DR sites for critical databases.- Responsible for installation, configuration, and up-gradation of Oracle databases and its related products on Solaris and Linux based environments.- Responsible for deployment of change requests (CRs) in TABS 7 as per business needs.- Perform periodic health check of all the domain databases.- Patching critical databases with CPU/PSUs.- Gathering of optimizer statistics to enhance performance.- Performance tuning using SQLT, SQL_TRACE, TKPROF, AWR, ADDM, ASH and 12c OEM cloud control.- Implementation of Shell scripts to automate different database monitoring tasks.
