Responsible for leading and delivering ad-hoc projects related to business and strategic initiatives as part of the long-term plan of the Company• Developing business and development models designed to provide market intelligence to determine the effect of changing factors on organisation’s business over a given period of time• Project lead and worked directly with C-suite for a landmark $750m+ transaction leading to acquisition of 40% stake in Tabreed by French energy giant, ENGIE at a 40% premium to market price • Led the marketing, valuation, due diligence and deal close work streams for the above project engaging with multiple large institutional investors and their financial, technical and legal advisors• Led and closed a $400m refinancing unlocking over $140m of new debt capacity from existing assets, won the GFC Local Currency Deal of the Year award• Integral team member and led valuation work on a $560m contract negotiation with a customer in 2015• Integral team member on a $850m refinancing of corporate bank debt in 2014• Integral team member and led the valuation work on a AED 1bn mandatory convertible bond repurchase in 2015• Led the asset impairment analysis, involving valuing installed asset portfolio, including external review from 2014 to 2016 • Team player working with various functions across the organisation to identify value addition opportunities• Internal IFRS expert and delivered solutions to highly technical accounting issues related to leases, refinancing, hedges etc• Integral team member in review and overhaul of Tabreed’s long term budgeting and planning process and designed a financial model and related reports to assist in strategic decision making and control• Developed financial models and led valuation work on various other projects of over $1 bn in aggregate
