My job at Know Advertising is to brainstorm and create ideas for imaginative and comprehensive campaigns for our clients. I love writing for a variety of mediums, including print, social media, video, radio, websites, press releases, and sales materials. In addition to working in the writing trenches, I work with all departments in the agency to ensure the campaigns are on-brand, on-time and, of course, approved by the client.

At Ottaway Digital, I managed 10 accounts of clients in various industries, from moving and storage to natural health. My role was to not only to provide the clients with sterling service, but to help them grow their websites by writing content and creating social media. I acted as their public relations manager, web content creator, and social media manager all in one. My biggest task was to utilize my knowledge of SEO to rank my clients' websites higher than their competitors in organic search.

As a hub paginator, my main job was to design 6-10 newspaper pages daily on deadline. Building pages required communication with coworkers who worked remotely and making sure all content was properly edited and accurate.

Acting as the mouthpiece of the Hall to the general public, I created content for social media, wrote blogs and copy for the website, and created communications materials such as press releases and articles for The Hall's magazine. I also assisted with special events and marketing initiatives.

At Your People, I worked closely with clients and the Chief Creative Officer to ensure that the clients' voices and missions were consistent across all digital platforms. In this position, I mainly wrote blogs, social media posts and web copy for clients.

Identifying the voice, target audience and ideal content was my main job as social media specialist. In addition to interacting with prospective customers online, I created engaging social media posts. and assisted with public relations duties as needed.

At Target, my main job was to provide customers with a quality shopping experience. Other duties at Target included answering the store phone and helping out with customer inquiries, checking the fitting rooms, folding clothes and pulling products from the back room.

The job of the social media intern is to write captivating and engaging content online to interact with members of the Recreation and Well-Being Center. I wrote blogs and social media posts to accompany the blogs, along with creating standalone posts to connect with and inform the users of the Recreation and Well-Being Center.

As life editor, I pitched story ideas, helped reporters choose stories, edited 2-8 stories per week for grammar, accuracy and AP Style, wrote one to two stories per week, and assisted on production of the newspaper as needed.

My assignments at the Oakland Post included editing content for web and print, choosing photographs, writing captions, and placing content on Adobe InDesign.

In this internship role, my main job was to thoroughly fact check stories, pitch story ideas, write arts and entertainment listings, and write stories local to the Metro Detroit area.

As a desk receptionist, I greeted customers with a smile, provided directions and information to resources on campus, answered phone calls and emails, checked, received and delivered mail, handled packages, and checked students in and out of their apartments.
