I am a technical leader who thrives in uncharted territory. I currently work for Walt Disney Imagineering as a Lead Software Project Manager within the Technology Studio. In this role I am responsible for the management of a Project Management Organization (PMO), the functional management of a team of 5 internal and external Technical Project Managers, and the development of best practices for program & project management for our Studio. I previously worked as a Senior Systems Engineer for Walt Disney Parks & Resorts on the Modeling, Simulation, and Training Tools team and at Intel developing software strategies to debug new server CPU designs.Between my roles at Disney and Intel, I have served as a technical lead, SCRUM Master, Product Manager, Project Manager, Program Manager, and Functional Manager. In these technical leadership roles, I have led teams of over 40 developers, managed individual project budgets in excess of $35M, and developed key relationships within Disney & Intel as well as with external partner vendors and contractors. As a technologist, one of my strengths is my ability to dive into a complicated or ambiguous problem and begin making rapid progress. At Disney I am responsible for driving the successful development of software products used to design and maintain attractions across the globe. These projects range from software used to program animatronics to enterprise-wide web applications powered by AI. This role requires me to develop new expertise across a variety of hardware and software technologies on a near-daily basis. In addition to my technical and leadership roles, I am passionate about building and sustaining a more robust pipeline of diverse talent in technology. At Intel I served as my business unit’s Women in Tech representative where I focused on the growth and development of women in our organization. At Disney I lead a Women at Disney Circle for technical women and am also the leader of the "Changineers" who focus on workplace culture in Imagineering.I am always seeking to expand my network.
