Elgon regions and enabled determination of the Fairtrade Living Income Reference Price for Uganda coffee in October 2022.🏆 Contributed to the 11% growth in Fairtrade sales through market development activities such as the launch of annual Golden Cup coffee quality contests across 5 countries (Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda and Ethiopia), facilitating the participation of coffee producers in 4 trade fairs (SCA Expo, World of Coffee, SCA Japan, Seoul Café Show) and market campaigns (Fairtrade Fortnight in the UK).
