I assist the content editing team with editing manuscripts. I receive manuscripts that are towards the beginning or end of the publication process and check for clarity, tone, and overall consistency within the chapters and the books.

Each month I develop a blog theme that invites current authors, guest authors, and team members to be active participants for the month. I receive blog submissions, edit them, and publish them on our website. I also work to increase the traffic to the website. In the past, I have also worked on promotion for book releases for authors, which involved getting in contact with authors for author bios. When I was in charge of social media, I created weekly content such as motivational quotes, writing tips, and team profiles for each of my co-workers. I also kept updates for any major book launches and in-person author events. I also assisted co-workers with hiring ads for new team members and book illustrators.

I work in the Academic Success Center at Winthrop University, a resource for students to receive academic assistance such as academic coaching or peer tutoring. I help students find tutors and conduct research to determine programs and initiatives that can further benefit the students.

I work with Department Chairs of various graduate programs at Winthrop to create the best social media plan for their demographic and department. After conducting research for their department and creating a plan, I assist the Department Chair with developing a weekly social media schedule. I have helped programs start and maintain social media accounts that introduce students to the program and highlight student accomplishments as well as develop interactive posts on Instagram Story. In this role, I have also conducted research for the Dean of the Graduate School for the College of Arts and Sciences to determine options for new programs based upon others in the country.
