The President of the Retail Design Institute leads strategic vision and operations, fostering collaboration within the design community and advancing industry standards. This role includes overseeing initiatives that promote innovation, education, and networking opportunities among members. The President also represents the Institute in industry partnerships and public engagements, ensuring its relevance and influence.

Creative lead on strategy + design for the experiential practice across both TENFOLD and TENSPACE. Contributed to the ideation and creation of TENSPACE while responsible for executing 5 experiential shows with immersive design. Collaborated on digital marketing, events and social content to carry design strategy seamlessly for an omnichannel experience. Each brand saw substantial success.

Expanded firm presence to Columbus, Ohio - raising awareness of studio capabilities and developing new business opportunities. Independent development of new retail relationships with a focus on brand pop-up expansions; many of which required creative ingenuity due to limited budgets in order to achieve a two-day ROI. Developed differentiated, impactful spaces including the CBUS Retail Pop-up Hub. Per the founder of CBUS Retail, comments received indicated that it was a huge differentiator for the conference. Led proposal preparation process, contributed to strategic financial negotiations and supported the firm’s mission to expand Midwest presence.

Created a design consultancy that focused on retail + restaurant design, as well as workplace. Sought out a targeted list of clients, got the work, and successfully led teams before executing. Critical to that growth was the ability to market the successes and build on relationships while seeking new clients.

Spearheaded retail design projects and initiatives and trained client teams to implement visual display at the highest level. For the Hanes brand relationship, developed a VM + experience training program for their internal store design team.

Created a new service offering for the firm, visual merchandising. Created case studies and a design process to bring on new clients such as New Balance, Alghanim Industries, and Organized Living. Directed photo shoots, executed visual merchandising installations and supported production efforts.
