I am passionate about helping people understand one another through the use of effective communication. As a result, I have acquired 15 years of international, intercultural, non-profit, political, and corporate communications experience. After college, I spent seven years in working in the cross-cultural communication space where I taught English as a foreign language and ran language schools in South Korea, France, Spain, the U.K. and the U.S.A. Over the next few years, I worked as a political consultant and grassroots organizer in the Tampa Bay Area- building coalitions, directing campaigns, writing speeches, crafting messages, speaking publicly, managing media relations, conducting research and demographic analysis, and planning strategically. I also have experience in immigration, translation, and law.For the past 5 years, I have been with the public relations firm, Tucker/Hall Inc. I primarily specialize in the needs of non-profits, foundations, medical facilities, educational institutions, and public interest issues. I provide our clients with strategic communications, crisis management, and public affairs support. It's important to me that I do my work through a conscientious lens, considering social impact, DEI, multiple audiences, potential variables, and long-term reputation management.I have a limited working knowledge of French, Spanish, and Korean, and a graduate degree in Bilingual and Multicultural Education.
