Fall 2022, I started my journey pursuing a bachelor's degree in honors mechanical engineering and have since then added a minor in business administration. I am set to graduate in 2026 in this discipline with hopes to pursue a graduate education the following academic year. Currently, I am an undergraduate research student under Dr. Rigoberto Advincula with the University of Tennessee's Chemical Engineering Department. Here I conduct research focusing on additive manufacturing of polymers, particularly those of a thixotropic nature. I have experience in CAD using Autodesk Inventor as well as coding experience using MATLAB, with relative experience in HTML, R, and Python. On campus, I am involved with the Best Buddies Program and the university's ASME chapter. My ASME chapter is currently participating in a hovercraft competition in which I am the team captain. I also enjoy volunteering in my community with many different organizations, such as the animal shelter and pregnancy resource center.It is my long-term career goal to use my degree to work in industry at an international scale. I am currently looking to join the automotive industry focusing on the areas of design and production.
