Project Title: Turkcell 4->5G Launch Budget: $3.9BResources: 2 Optimisation Engineers | 5 RF Planning Engineers Overall Project Objective: To launch 4->5G network across 10K sites all over Turkey.Outcome: Achieved all project milestones. Covered 10 cities and catered to 2K sites.  Deployed critical thinking; while strategising for developing LTE network for a football stadium catering to an audience of 20K. Prepared list of parameters and ran configurations on site.  Identified issues on the day of a match. Analysed configuration scripts and rectified error within 15 minutes. Appreciated by the Manager.  Resolved post launch Random Access Channel (RACH) setup degradation issue; analysed the root cause and presented to key stakeholders. Implemented soft parameter changes on 4G sites. Project Title: Zain Reload Project Budget: $1.9BResources: 5 Wireless Engineers | 5 RF Engineers Objectives: To expand the network. To upgrade existing network to single Radio Access Network (RAN) technology.Actions: Formulated a design document and guidelines for the delivery of the project. Trained multiple, cross-cultural resources to competitively work on live networks. Identified strength areas and delegated tasks accordingly. Managed with a team short of 3 resources.Outcome: Successfully delivered the project within 2 years as against the pre-decided deadline of 3 years.  Implemented an upgrade Plan for 3G/4G and managed new 4G trial; oversaw coverage and capacity planning. Compared licenses and features prior to software upgrade. Strategically selected suitable site and managed carrier aggregation deployment on LTE. Prepared radio frequency distribution system; based on feedback and inputs received from customers and marketing team. Project Title: ZTE to Huawei Swap Budget: $100MResources: 2 Wireless Engineers | 3 RF Engineers Objective: To swap 546 sites from ZTE to Huawei in the absence of original project manager.Actions: Analysed existing resources and formulated a fresh plan. Used Excel to prepare a macro file to create a script for 546 sites. Mapped multiple scenarios and prepared rollback plans for each failed task. Ensured zero interruption to live network.Outcome: Successfully delivered the project within timelines and averted potential financial penalty of $1M. Received appreciation from senior management.  Went above and beyond the call of duty to ensure customer satisfaction; handpicked by Huawei to train multiple stakeholders in the North region on the newly launched single RAN technology.  Self-trained and conducted 2 training sessions despite no prior knowledge of the subject.  Initial assignment of 3 months extended as a permanent role due to exceptional performance.  Multitasked to efficiently manage resources and responsibilities; handled subcontractors and provided technical support to teams on field. Project Title: Zain 3G Expansion and LTE Launch Budget: $500MResources: 8 Team Members Objective: To overcome network congestion through launch of LTE and expansion of existing 3G network.Actions: Supported back-office to integrate new LTE sites. Studied the plan and learnt integration processes within 1 day. Troubleshot media issues in collaboration with transmission team. Accomplished the challenging feat of integrating 100 sites within 1 week. Outcome: Adhered to all project deadlines and successfully launched the first LTE network in Saudi Arabia. Achieved the highest LTE subscriber base amongst 2 other networks.
