Life BIOAs (LIFE19 ENV/IT/000512) is a project co-funded under the LIFE+ program and aims to demonstrate the environmental and economic feasibility of a process for the production of an innovative bio-adsorbent from olive pomace and, at the same time, its use for the purification of drinking water from arsenic.Activities:• Participated in the preliminary testing for the setting of the reactor for hydrothermal carbonization process activity• Performed simulation of drinking water treatment plant to carry out feasibility analysis of the plant at different water treatment volumes • Prepared business plan targeting the industrial-scale application of bio-adsorbent and water treatment plants• Performed competitive analysis of proposed technologies in European and international market • Participated in the demonstration campaign of the plant
