For legal reasons I also hold the title of CFO. My responsibilities include,+ Prepare and review complex financial models for various companies/ divisions/ group of companies and carry out valuations for different purposes such as M&A, fair value reporting under IFRS, debt restructuring, fund raising etc.+ Prepare investment teasers, memorandums and presentations for unitholders and investors for prospective projects detailing findings about the sector, Target Company, relevant market information and risks associated with the transaction.+ Coordinate with investee companies for regular review of investments and ensure that investor’s interests are protected.+ Communicate effectively and manage various internal and external stakeholders including LPs, regulators, Board and Investment committee + Present to Investment Committee new investment opportunities for approval as well as performance of existing investments.+ Maintain a network with HNW individuals, family offices and corporate groups to originate deals and source funding for portfolio companies.+ Lead execution of deals by planning assignment, finalizing various legal documents such as SPA, SHA, SSA, terms sheets and other legal formalities.+ Train and mentor junior team members to establish a productive and fun work atmosphere.
