Hunger Hurts is a youth non-government organisation that was established to systematically reduce the rate of rural & urban poverty in Malaysia. Registered under the Ministry of Youth and Sports, Hunger Hurts aims to achieve this ambitious goal by tackling the issue of poverty from multiple angles. We focus on the provision of basic necessities to underprivileged communities, education and skills training for underprivileged youth as well as public exposure on the issue of poverty and world hunger.Current role as President includes:- Manage & oversee all departments - Lead & manage team members on project initiation, planning & execution- Ensure organization activities are in line with the organisation's vision & mission- Ensure effective execution of Hunger Hurts’ short, mid & long-term strategic poverty alleviation initiatives - Source and close partnerships with relevant ngos, businesses and government institutions

Malaysian CSO-SDG Alliance is a national network of civil society organisations (development based, human rights & environmental) working on the effective implementation of sustainable development goals that was set by the United Nations in 2015. GCMY is the local chapter of the UN Global Compact, the world’s largest corporatesustainability initiative. With over 13,500 participating members, the UN Global Compact isa call to companies to align their strategies and operations with universal principles onhuman rights, labour, environment and anti-corruption. My role as the Project Officer includes:- Initiate, plan, execute & monitor projects under GCMY. - Liaise with corporate and non-corporate members on all membership related matters- Identify & close potential companies to join GCMY as a member- Develop GCMY's social media marketing strategy & oversee all of the organisation'ssocial media channels- Liaise with various C-Suite executives, government institutions, and NGOs on mattersinvolving business sustainability and the SDGs.

Senator Bathmavathi Krishnan is the second disabled person to have been appointed as amember of Malaysia's Upper House of Parliament.My role as her assistant includes:- Conduct general and legal research- Conduct policy analysis and recommendations- Liaise with government institutions, businesses and NGOs on matters involving the rights ofthe disabled communities in Malaysia- Liaise with various civil society groups in channeling their concerns to the senator- Manage the senator's day-to-day professional commitments. This includes settingappointments, meetings and managing her working schedule- Establish a national youth advocacy organisation dedicated in championing the rights ofthe disabled community in Malaysia
