Faiz is a lecturer at the Constitutional Law Department, Faculty of Law Universitas Gadjah Mada. He completed his Bachelor's Degree from the Faculty of Law, Universitas Gadjah Mada, concentrating in Constitutional Law, and LLM in Media and Technology Law from UNSW Australia. He is currently a PhD Candidate at Leiden Law School, Universiteit Leiden. His PhD research focuses on the issues of public interest in data protection. He will investigate how the "public interest" concept is designed and functioned within the Indonesian data protection legal and institutional frameworks. His research interests include law and digital society, privacy and data protection, and constitutional law.
