Responsible for the economic development and redevelopment functions of the Authority including the Community Development, Rehabilitation, and Section 8 Departments. Supervised the management of projects, with the Authority functioning as the Project Manager and/or Developer. This included large-scale commercial activities, neighborhood revitalization, creation of industrial parks, historical preservation and adaptive re-use. Administered $1,600,000 in Community Development Block Grant and HOME Investment Partnership funds as a subrecipient of the City of Roanoke to operate a Comprehensive Rehabilitation Loan Program, emergency repair program, and to subsidize in-fill housing projects. Administered a $1,100,000 Homeownership Opportunities Program funded from prior lease-purchase projects.
