Plan, prioritize, assign, supervise, and review work of survey staff; train staff in advanced survey techniques; provide technical staff assistance and direction; evaluate performance of assigned staff.Sign/certify and seal subdivision maps, plats, and legal descriptions as the City’s Professional Land Surveyor.Direct and coordinate staff in making a variety of surveys, including land surveys, topographic surveys, construction surveys, and surveys to establish and monument centerlines.Provide technical map checking; review Certificates of Correction, Lot Line Adjustments and Abandonments for technical correctness and conformance with state and city requirements.Oversee the maintenance of City monumentation, the replacement of monuments as needed, and file necessary documents with County for monument preservation
