I hold a doctorate in Culture and Performance from the department of World Arts and Cultures/ Dance at UCLA. My dissertation is "Virtual Actualities: Technology, Museums, and Immersion," which examines the use of immersive technologies within museum and cultural heritage spaces. My MA thesis is entitled "Visiting Digital Tombstones: Unearthing Questions of Digital Personhood, Commemoration, and Remembrance Processes." I am interested in the ways in which digital devices and tools are reshaping cultural practices and academic disciplines (specifically art history).
